1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others are used only if you agree.
2. Cookies we use
Necessary cookies (always on)
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_functional, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics | Remember your cookie choice | 12 months |
| pll_language | Remembers the language you chose | 1 year |
Cookies for logged-in users
If you log in, WordPress and our cache set a few more cookies to keep you signed in and to show you the right page. They are necessary for the login to work.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| wordpress_logged_in_, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-, wp_preferences_user_* | Keep you logged in and remember your account settings | Until you log out or close the browser; with “Remember me”, up to 14 days |
| _lscache_vary | Makes sure logged-in users get the right cached page | Until you close the browser |
Statistics cookies (only after you agree)
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_C9G9YT305B (Google Analytics) | Count visits and show which pages are viewed. Used only in statistics | Up to 2 years |
Google services (only after you agree)
- Google Maps shows the map on listings. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and browser data and may set its own cookies.
- YouTube shows videos. When a video loads, YouTube may set cookies and collect viewing data.
Before you agree, the map and the videos are replaced by a placeholder and nothing is loaded from Google. The names and lifetimes of these cookies are set by Google. Examples we have seen are __Secure-ENID (about 13 months) and SEARCH_SAMESITE (about 6 months). See Google’s privacy policy.
Bot protection on forms
Our registration form uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated sign-ups. It sends your IP address and browser data to Google. This is needed to protect the site, so it works without the cookie banner.
3. Share buttons and links to other sites
The share buttons under blog posts, and the social media icons in the footer, are plain links. They load nothing from Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Threads or other networks and set no cookies on our site. Once you click one, you leave greobg.com and that network’s own policy applies.
4. How to change your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage consent” button at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that the site may not work properly if you block all cookies, for example you could not log in.
5. More information
How we handle personal data in general is explained in our Privacy Policy. For questions, write to contact@greobg.com.
